I have around 8k on my car and already I'm beginning to see uneven wear and the noise, along with the car vibrating at higher speeds. I know this has been covered a million times on here, but what is Dunlop and BMW doing if this happens because I don't want to have to buy new tires after 8k miles, I know they are not a long lasting tire, but 8k isn't much thanx

Did you buy your 545i at Burdick? I ordered my 530xi from them 4 weeks ago and I'm waiting on shipping. Who did your window tint, do you have any pics?

They'll replace them if the tires are showing the cupping on the inside and making noise...

Please "cupping" is what? I have 9500 miles and the noise at 50mph is terible, almost vibration. My dealer is telling me story that on 18" wheels it's normal to have tires worn out. I don't beleive that shit especially since I drive it very smooth so far; no single cornering or launch control stuff. Do I face me vs. dealer tough conversation?

Have you seen the service bulletin about the tires yet? It's out there on this site...

Interesting that it mentions 20K miles on the tires, not the car. For those of us that use winter tires, it may be cheap insurance to have the dealer change them so they can tell how many miles are on the tires. I have 13K miles now but 5K of those were on the winter tires and I am about to switch again.

Yeah I did get it at burdick
I also have the cupping on the inner tred.

I got the tint done at syracuse tint and trim, the guys there did an excellent job.
It's just to bad now that I have to put winter tires and rims on with all the snow and salt
