When you buy the car new you get the two normal key fobs and a little plastic key(same shape as the metal part when you unclip your key from your fob). This you supposed to keep in your wallet and if you ever loose your keys you can clip the plastic key into the dummy fob in the glove box and still drive the car.

It's function is described in your owner's manual. Please review the information thoroughly as a test will be issued within 24 hours; if you fail the test your vehicle will no longer function.
