This may have already been discussed, and if so, I apologize. What's the difference between DSC and DTC and when do you use them? The default on mine is DSC and I never turn it off. If I hit the button, it automatically switches to DTC.

Thanks,
Marc

dsc is stability control aka prevent spins, wheelspin, etc.
dtc is more stringent straight line traction control, for slippery surfaces

hold down the button to turn both off

Difference is DTC lets you to have more wheel spin for snow or heavy rain (or just for fun). DSC never lets your wheels spin and in order to have fun while driving spin wheels and go like crazy with burning wheels you need to turn both off.

DTC: Dynamic Traction Control
DSC: Dynamic Stability Control

DTC: Dynamic Traction Control
DSC: Dynamic Stability Control
Is it not the case that the Stability Control engages when lateral instability is detected and Traction control simply manages effective rubber/road traction?

Yes you are right but the thing is DSC covers it all and DTC is and way basic DSC.
