View Poll Results: How often do you disengage completely the dsc?
Almost everyday (and i do mean play with it, like really doing something when dsc goes off)

There is a major difference. DSC is great for keeping you out of trouble. DTC is a waste IMO. My preference would be to keep DSC on almost always and keep DTC off almost always. I don't want DTC managing my engine or my acceleration. I wish BMWs worked the same way as my Z06--one can turn DTC completely off, while leaving DSC completely on--in effect--which yields a vastly more satisfying driving/safety experience.
BTW, I was supposed to bring the e60 to the 1/4 track today, but got rained out. You should bring the Z06 or 545 sometime to see how the g-tech times compare.

I voted about once a week.
But it's not about traffic being lighter as it says in the poll.
For me - if I want a spirited drive, the road is dry and I can concentrate fully on my driving - I'll switch it off.
But .... if I'm on a long journey, working, on the phone, it's wet or I am otherwise distracted - leave it on.

I thought you had the best acceleration times by leaving DTC on.

Thanks for that, will give it a try. It's raining at the moment so probably not the best time to try.

Pressing the button once does not give you more DTC, but instead just limits DSC so it cuts in later.
