Yep.
When you park your car and turn off the engine, pull the lever on the left of the steering wheel as if you would like to flash your lights! Just pull it ones! Then get out of the car and lock it up. The light will stay on as long as set in idrive...

You have to pull it when you need it. It's not on automatically, so that others are not getting blinded by it when you park somewhere else than at your home... And it doesn't drain the battery...
