Drove though fairly deep water last night ...

This may sound fairly stupid or obvious however the story is that I drove through fairly deep water during a large rain storm yesterday afternoon. I had no choice as it was on a fairly major highway, it was bumper to bumper traffic, you couldn't turn off to get away from it, and everyone else was driving through it. Aparently the water was high enough to reach the fog light bulbs which caused them to blow out since I had them on. So, the moral of the story is first don't drive through deep water unless you have no choice and second, turn off the fog lights!! Thankfully nothing else happened!

Too bad, thanks for the tip. In regards to using Fogs I see more and more drivers using them when it is not necessary.
