.....and I have to say that I kind of liked the 550i. My main complaint with the M5 was the over boosted steering. Same thing with my M3 convertible, the steering is so over assisted and effortless that it borders on annoying. I liked the feel of the 550i steering a lot more. I don't know, for the extra $800 a month (that's right) I just don't think it's worth it. One thing that I absolutely LOVED were the active seats. Were so cool but again, not worth the difference in price.

Ya, but the M5 is up there in terms of pimp-factor status. It's all about the 'M.'

"Pimp-factor status"??
Wow I never dreamed of being a pimp or even having pimp status...and I can get this with a car??? I don't remember that in the "options" section of the brochure! Gonna look again later! Am I going to have to buy a furry purple hat too?? ![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)

Was the 550 your's or a new LCI 550? Also, did it have steering assist?

Beating Penetta (and others) to the question, so then how would the 535i stack up to the M5 in your back-to-back?!
Maybe a race of a tuned 535i and an M5 is in the works.
