damn...i was removing charcoal filter/installing k&n filter earlier in the day......and as i unscrew the sensor cable, one of the torx screw gets dropped in the engine bay....
this is pretty depressing since this isn't the first time i did this...
i tried looking for it by flashing some light into the engine bay, removing the flap cover on the bottom....none of it seems to work
any ideas?

Hrmm.. I cant help you there but there's defintily no unscrewing of anything involved except to loosen that metal clamp. The sensor cable is clipped in and just pops right out.

Fear not ... just don't drive the car yet. Use another car (hopefully) and head to Sears or your nearest tool place and get yourself a telescoping antenna with magnetic tip. It's used just for situations like yours where your arm/fingers can't reach. Hope this helps.

Missing a screw isnt a problem... its if it'll get lodged in the fan or engine belt when the car is moving... you want it out.

They wanted to last time... for some front plate bumper screws... they were $0.52 each for the drilling ones and $0.38 each for the 4 securing screws... I told them ok well then forget it take out the 2 drilling ones and i'll just take the 4 securing screws since I was going to tie / tape down my front plate and not really drill it. They then said "you know what its ok keep them"
