Hi guys

I live in the UK - the land where you can choose to activate DRL from i-drive - but I noticed when I activated DRL that it is not working.

I may be doing something wrong, but I leave the light switch at the 0 position during daytime and expect the DRL to come on but it does not.

I have to say that my eye browse are also not working as I am yet to update the software to 24.2 (have an appointment next week), and was wondering if this is related?

I am sure the inner lights (Flash to pass lights) are working, so that is not the culprit.

Anyone has an idea if the Eye Browse software problem causes rhe DRL not to work too??

Thank you guys

Have you tried the automatic position?

Does the ambient light level still switch off your lights?

ABC I did try the Automatic position, which brings out the main (outer lights) and the angel eyes on.
But it did this before I switched the DRL ANYWAY so what's new?

I thought DRL will take care of things when the car is running during day light by switching on the (Inner lights & Angel eyes).

As far as I know the bulbs activated with DRL are exactly the same as those activated by Automatic (but permananently) hence my stab at the Auto setting.

However, the UK manual says...

Daytime Driving Lights

If desired, the light switch can remain in position 3.

If necessary, switch on the side lights as described under Side Lights.
Position 3 is clearly labelled "Low beam headlights and daytime driving lights" (Page 94)
