So im new to the forums and ive been googling around for ways to set my angel eyes / halos / rings to DRL. A lot of people are saying that the 2008+ 5 series should have them factory set.

My car is a 2008 528i and my DRL are the yellow beams in the center ring.
Ive been searching around for days now and still no direct answer and would want to stay away from hard wiring and mods if possible.
Only way i can get the angel eyes/halos on is by turning the knob to parking lights.

so my question is: How can i have my DRL set to halos/angel eyes WITHOUT having to turn the knob to parking lights and wiring modifications?

Thanks.

you must have a 2007 car. 2008 cars made from March 2007 forward have the halos on for DRL.

Incorrect.

He has LCI halogens, that's why his DRL are his high beam.

OP, yes, it is possible, but you need someone to code the car for you.
