I think it was $13 or there abouts.
Right! Try $21 and change! Pentosin CHF11s? I topped off lastnight. But i did discover they're stocking the same Tranny fluid which I couldn't get at dealer unless it was 50 gallon drum and they dont do BYOB by the liter anymore. Cost me $16.50 or so from RMEUROPEAN. Napa stocking it at $14 liter.

ok im confused as hell right now. The error symbol popped up in my car today and it said something similar to "Drive control system! Drive moderately" too... i didn't get the start off assistance message though. I thought all this meant was DSC (dynamic stability controls) automatically turned on itself? I just thought nothing of it and parked my car like usual. Came back started the car again 2 hours later and no message appeared.

someone explain pls, should i be concerned?

Look into steering angle sensor. If you still under warranty take it in if not just cleaning it. Mine did it for month then I took out dust it and no problem for months now.

It may have something to do with the batt. When it gets cold out these cars start acting up and throwing all kinds of codes if the batt is going bad. Just an idea.

Before you go through any troubles......Make sure you have correct fluid in your Active Steering Resevoir and also your Brake fluid Resevoir. AND make sure your battery is powerful...I don't mean just powerful enough to start the car. Go to walmart or something and get a battery. Everstart Maxx94R and test it. That battery is smaller, lighter and more powerful than the original E60 battery. Don't forget to connect the vent tube. The E60 is one of the most touchiest cars I've ever seen. I've had many codes thrown due to the battery and it always started the car fine and ran accessories with engine off perfectly fine. However, threw errors every now and then for:

"Driving Stability - Drive control system malfunction."
"Active Steering Malfunction - Continued driving is possible."
"Electrical System Malfunction - Driving is not possible." - always went away seconds after throw before I could pull over.

Also....is your alignment off? Had any work done to the car recently? How are the brakes and brake pad sensors? Tires low on air/nitrogen? It's always the stupidest things. Hope this helps. Good luck!

P.S. - Mass Air Flow Cleaner is your best friend for all you sensors should you need to clean them!
