Hi all! Great forum. Been reading loads of threads and picked up some good info, good work guys!

I have a problem with my e60, I have a facelifted diesel m-sport model with adaptive lights. I thought it could be a good idea to upgrade the driving lights too. I got the required h3`s in +50% xenon. Got these in no problem and went to give them a try....... nothing!? I blamed the bulbs so fitted the originals....... tried them again? Nothing!? I have no bulb warnings on the dash?

Any ideas? Do I need to be moving or is this just a stupid thing I`m missing? Forgive me if it`s a stupid question...!

Sorry to bump the thread back up, but this is doing my head in! Do I need to see the dealer about this?

Had to try and answer this myself, so gave the dealer a call. The techie says that on models fitted with adaptive xenons they don`t light up on main (full) beam!??, only when turning to illuminate the corner?

I find this difficult to comprehend, why not have them on aswell? (and I wasted my time changing the bulbs!)


As anybody else got one and give it try please? Mines a UK spec oct 2007 facelifted.
