driving in to a driveway

and then all of a sudden the wheel well molding rapped around my wheel. what the hell!!

i had to cut it out with shears, i wonder how much will this cost me to replcce.

Did you have the M-tech kit installed? Perhaps they did not do the cutting of the wheel well molding as specified on the installation instructions.
Otherwise, maybe the clips got loose
