Every so often my driver's window retracts after the auto-up function is activated. The only repeatable sequence this happens is that when the window is down and after I place the transmission in Park, then auto-up the window, it closes most of the way and then retracts back down. Only the driver's window does this and it doesn't happen every time. The only thing i can come up with is that the auto-trap function is not working properly. I've tried the auto reset procedure of continuously holding the up/down button on close and open.

Any suggestions?

Mine did the same thing recently. I took it to the dealership and they said it was in fact a window anti-trap malfunction.
If you have CPO it will be covered under warranty for a mere $50 deductible.

Mine did that on the rear driver-side window - bang!. Take it to the dealer.

Don't go to the dealer, just take a look at the following thread -- be sure to read more than the first couple of posts since the instructions were refined over time:

Ok thanks. My auto-up/down feature works, so I believe there may be another malfunction. The issue that I'm having is that the window doesn't roll up in auto mode once in awhile...and there's is no error in iDrive.
