Do you know how long do I leave the battery unconnected so I can try and see if it resets?

I think its 15 mins but i said 20 mins to be sure. You can not open up any doors, trunk or hood.

My timing is off. That is the procedure to make sure the car goes to sleep. Just keep it unplugged for 10-15 mins and everything should be reset.

When I unplug the cables and close my trunk is there a way to open the trunk? Cuz I don't have a key to open the trunk it's just the remote witch is the square key you insert in ignition. So it's all electrical

yes there is but you can keep it open. just dont open or close anything until you plug it back in
