I will say it is much improved on my 2008 but when I get the car waxed, it reappears... It has, in my case, always been the problem. Get wax on the painted body surface where it makes contact with the rubber door seal and I get the creaking. A mild cleanser like Dove to remove the wax and the creaking is gone...

LOL I've had the teflon tapes put on about 8 months ago... it was ok for about 6 months... came back! Teflon tapes do not make the noise disappear permanently! It's quite safe to say I think that it does come back... and once it does, you'll probably need to have "new" teflon tapes put on again... quite sad! :thumbsdown:
