I have my door lock setting so that once I drive off all the doors lock.

Twice within six months after about 30 minutes driving the rear passenger door opens slightly and I get a message in idrive indicatiing so. All the other doors remain locked.

Any one else experience this? How can I prove this happens to the delear?

Huh!..you mean the actual door unlocks itself and opens??

I would say go to that door and check the mechanical lock linkage. It could be it doesn't swivel in the lock position when the door closes. But I can't see how you could confirm this, since this would happen as the door shuts....

I'd get the latches checked but this is the second time I've heard of this type of things happening...

Assuming the issue is the door unlocking, then, with patitience and perhaps a helper, you could make a video of what happens or maybe just record the 4 doors locking and the single door unlocking. Actually these options should work if the door really is opening.

It sounds to me like the latch that andy545 is talking about is at fault here. If that latch doesn't lock into the closed position, it won't matter if the door is locked or not...

The rear doors have a small switch located inside the door in front of the latch. Make sure the switch is set one way or the other and not in the middle. Otherwise change the position and see if the problem disappears. The switch is there to prevent people (or children) from opening the door from the inside.

Oh I didn't forget that...I actually thought about linking to that one but was in a hurry and figured it wouldn't do much to help...
