06 525. It appears that the chrome molding, driver and passenger door, that runs along the window channel is starting to lift on the rear corner of each. What made me notice it was the molding was slightly higher than the adjacent molding on the rear doors. Anyone else experience this?

Have you tried pushing it down ?
It just clips onto the door

Yes, but the aft corner keeps rolling back up. Not much is coming up, just about 1/2-1" of lenght on the very aft corner of both front doors. Like I said before, if there wasn't a back door with it to compare it to, it would be barely noticable.

My last E60 had that on the drivers side and you only notice because the straight line through to the rear window is slightly askew. Although I shoved it back in to place, it strayed back up a few cm's after a while. I think my new E60 will go the same.

Ya my passenger door shadowline trim keep popping up too... this is pretty commom it seems I've seen it on a few other E60s also... another 525 at work with the chrome is the same... his is A LOT higher... I have it on a list of to dos when I take it in next time.

I can push it back down but it doesnt click or stay down more than a few days till it starts comming up again.

I can push mine down, it does't click either and only stays down a few minutes. It feels as though there is adhesive under the trim. I don't know.
