Door Lock setup

ive been through 4-5 pages of searches and have not found an answer....i want all of the doors to unlock when i shut it down is this possible,,, i don't see the option in the set up...

That's a really good question and I'm glad you searched for an answer before posting.

That said, I believe you are correct. It is possible to "lock" automatically when starting off ... but not "unlock" when you turn off the ignition. At least I've not been able to configure that in iDrive. I use the dash button to unlock doors if the front door double pull is an annoyance.

It may be a "safety" feature - HOWEVER, in event of an accident all doors will unlock automatically.

Well now at least I know I am not the only one that has been looking for that feature... I wonder if there is some kind of code for it...

All my doors unlock when I take the key out of the ignition.

I'll try it later, but I believe the setting "ER_KEYOUT_AUTOVR" in the CAS module enables or disables autounlock on key removal. I'll get back to you guys...

Thanks for checking, I will go try that as I usuallly don't use my key fob and just leave it in my pocket,

Don't remember the code at the moment but mine is set to unlock all doors when I turn off the car and it will eject the key FOB.

I tried and my 09 doesn't eject the key fob, maybe you got that feature from one of your upgrades possibly..... no worries though

KOMFORT_EJECT is the one that pops all the locks and ejects the key.
