ALL IT TAKES TO GET RID OF THE SQUEAKY DOOR SEALS is to PUT A TRANSPARENT TAPE AROUND THE CAR BODY WHERE THE DOOR SEAL IS TOUCHING THE CAR
Since I could not stand the very well know squeaky door rubber seals anymore I took it to my dealer.
fter a while of pursuiding the dealer agreed on the faulty seals he offerd two options:
1) to exchange the door seals which would take some time to order and install plus it requires the whole door inner side to be remowed = I did not like that idea at all
2) he offered to put some special transparent tape on the body of the car where the upper part of the squaky seals "touches" the car.
AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY without any extra time spent at the dealer and without deassembling the doors
NOTE: it is some special tape, not a regular office one. It seems to be a little thick and heavy duty, but still transparent

seems like a good solution, glad it works
i had the modified seals fitted over a week ago and so far not a single squeak from ANY of the doors, dealer only had car for 1 day but i suspect it could have been done as a while-u-wait job.

Same plastic film was installed on my previous E60 (530d) more than one year ago and it worked passably only for few weeks. After that, all the usual concert of squeaks started again louder than ever. <_<
Trust me, guy, there is just one defenitive solution: to install the new, modified seals! And BMW, now, knows it very well.
Insist with your SA to have the new seals installed without delay!
