I have just noticed when washing my car on a baulmy 65 degree day in Va that some jerk has dinged my door, 15000 miles and a year ownership in Oct of 2004 and not a nick scratch or rock chip, well except for the curb rash (bbs rxII) and front spoiler rash cause by my wife, although it is a little ding it stands out on a clean jet black car like a big red pimple on a models face.
As i always park away from everyone came back to the car one day and some beater was parked right next to me with ten spaces on each side of me this person had to be the culprit darnit gotta get this fixed any ding for the rest of the board

buddy,
I feel for ya bad. We had our car for only 1 week after we picked it up in Munich while still in Europe, and we got a rock chip on the windshield and a door ding as well in the 1st week!
Any way you look at it it's not a good feeling, and I'm hoping to find the right time to get one of those dent wizards to maybe fix the door.

My car got the door ding after two weeks and only 800 miles!! That's the bad news.
The good news is that I phoned an outfit called "Dr. Dent" or some such thing and they came to my office and in an hour the dent was gone. No re-paint and no time at the body shop. The cost was $125.
There are a number of these companies around and the service is usually available through your dealer as well although they will add on their share so you will pay more.

[/quote]This skill of these paintless dent removal people vary considerably. It's crucial to find the right guy -- with the guy that does my car, you can't tell that there was ever a dent.
