Go with 335 for fun non-stop fun factor, cause thats another car im considering to get next year and get rid of my x3, but 525 is what i have now with basically the same option you listed

What about finding a slightly used 545? They seem to be running at around your budget (50k).
That's what I plan on doing. I've researched going to a E39 M5 to a 545 and a 335. I fell in love with the styling of the E60 so I'm sticking with it.
