Maybe its the car rebelling, and unhappy that you aren't driving it constantly 24Hrs a day, try driving it 24hrs a day, and the problem might go away.

BMW offers protective glass, you can't brake with a rock/brick.

Must be another option for you guys in Europe, don't recall ever seeing protection glass as option in the catalog I looked through before buying. What do they charge for this option?

I've got fireextinguishers to survive until the rescue team is there.
And you can exit through the windshield. Push with both feet against the upper right corner and it pops out.

Does anyone have both a new Range Rover & an E60?? Our trunk in our BMW seems to open sometimes when I unlock the Range Rover & they are parked next to each other.? Our BMW is possessed, so it may be completely unrelated.? Just wondering what you all think about possibile interference between the two (especially since the Range Rover is so much BMW).? The trunk has been opening by itself for a lot longer than we've had the Range Rover, but it seems to happen more frequently now that we have it.? It's a long shot, but it's worth asking!

A few years ago I had a Chrysler Sebring convertible. Anywhere I went, the "lock" button on its remote would _always_ set off the alarm on any Mitsubishi SUV (not sure of the model) nearby. The "unlock" would turn the siren off again.

Entirely possible that this is a similar situation. Maybe you could have something re-programmed?

Don't believe everything what you read! "There was no air so we couldn't breath.." BS and big time! Maybe they have panic disorder!

Don't be afraid because of those safety classes because every modern rescue crew have special saw to go through these windows. As long if they are not like inch thick. (level 3, .357 or 4, .44)

That's why I have fire extinguishers. To survive (in case of fire and when I can't get out) until the rescue team arrives... They can get in...
