This is why I'd never own a BMW V-8. Too damn expensive to maintain/repair.

It's not just the V8s....it's pretty much all of these cars once they get past 100k miles.

Had both I6 and V8. Engines are about the same for maintenance, but the I6 has ALOT more room under the hood. Still love my 545i.
