Seems that they are funnin you.
The tire looks ok and is designed that way to provide an element of protection albeit minor - to the wheel against curbing.

falken fk451 or 452 appeared to be one size smaller than most of the other tire brands. since you bought size 275, they look like 265. you also have to be careful when you park your car.

That does look a little more stretched than usual for a 275-section tire on a 9.5" wide rim... I'm sure its safe - as long as it was mounted and balanced professionally etc. - just looks strange. I'd say, it looks like a 245 mm on a 9.5" from this one pics - not a 265.

most on here run 275 because its the safest bet for their wheel

if its the same width as oem wheels (9.5" rear) then most on here will go with 275

really it all depends on the width of ur wheel

on a 10" wheel 285 would be a better size to cover it all, 295 will work aswell but that size isnt as common leaving u to pay more

as for the safety of ur wheel having that poked out look

u obviously wont be able to take turns as hard as someone else with fatter tires due to potential slipping... i dont mean just regular turning by any means

i mean like quick sudden, high rate of speed turns most on here wouldnt do regularly

but in either case ull be fine, just watch out for curbs

are you sure about the width of those rims? maybe they're wider than stated.
the tires look too streched to me.

285's will be hard to find...

I still think that something is off with that pic. I've seen plenty of 275-section F452's mounted on 9.5-wides and never saw one look so stretched.
