Does Intake Boot /Resonator Click In Place?
I just finished replacing the starter and now the car runs skididsh at idle. It's throwing a MAF code and vacuum issue. I did not remove any hoses at all except for the intake to the throttle body. From looking down at it, I'm thinking that is where the problem is, I do not feel I installed it tight. The intake boot I had to hold it in place while tightening the clamp or else it kept falling out of place.
Shouldn't it snap onto the throttle housing and not be falling over like it is? Thanks.
I am referring to the elbow that connects to the throttle body intake port. I have that resonator thing not just an elbow.

So once its in the groove, it shouldn't just fall out before tightening the clamp right? I ask because I don't think I have it entirely in the groove. Maybe just one side is in. It's really hard to see down there. Thanks.

That's what I meant, hold in place not click in place. Thanks. Ok I just got it to hold in place and it's holding on its own. Last time I used something to hold it in place. Now my problem is my hand barely fits in that area to tighten the clamp and that makes it incredibly difficult.
I'm looking for a 6mm flex head ratchet at the moment.

I just had my throttle body off last week.
Here's the way I tighten the clamp for the boot.
While you are looking at the resonator, take you right arm and head towards the master cylinder. Now snake your hand towards the intake manifold.
Use a flex driver with a 6mm socket on the end to tighten it.
I also put in a new green throttle body gasket.
