When I un-lock doors with Key button, I suddenly start to hear several ticks like a mini machine gun sound from the front of the car.

After 14,000 miles my breaks are sounding if I need new pads as-well.

I have to set up a service appointment at Orange County BMW.

Faze, I got my car from Orange County BWM. Back in Nov. 2003.

I heard they moved the dealer to another location.

I have about 1500 miles and have the same sound. It has been there since I picked up the car. i ust figured it was the "motor" used to unlock the doors.

Yeah really nice guys at OC bmw. I bought my 545i in Nov 2003 too and also got X5 4.8 in july 2004. They are very competive in the price and give Great Deals. I was qutoed so much higher prices from Westchester BMW. I will never buy a car from that dealership. The new facility is really nice. The other place was so dangerous to get into and out of from the street. almost crashed getting out of there, not to mention the Fog was so thick that November night.
