Yes.
When you are asked to put in your city of destination, turn the dial to the right... after the letter Z you'll find numbers.

I don't think the postal code entry is a function of the DVD, it's a function of the car's software. The data is on the DVD -- it's up to the car to use it...

Looking at the OP's question, I would say the question has a UK flavour.

It's been well documented on here that UK postcode fuctionality works with 01 but (due to a bug with the data) does not work with 02.

I've got 2006-01 & the postcode entry works, but only up to ***/* - * so only the 1st digit of the important postcode element is possible which can sometimes be very accurate for a destination but in 2 cases i was over 6 miles from where i needed to be.

My "pet" flaw with the BMW Prof Sat Nav - only 5 chrs renders it useless in the UK - IMO an expensive turkey for business use in the UK! - I've spoken to BMWUK several months back re this and they said we have no 'visible' plans to upgrade to the seven chrs required for UK use. My view is the software is US based, hence the 5 chrs allowance for the US zip code, It's not certain how much pressure can be brought to make the upgrade as the UK is alone (or maybe not?) in using that many chrs for precision location - but then again let's hope they do make the upgrade soon ...............

My view is the software is US based, hence the 5 chrs allowance for the US zip code,
"In 1983, the US Postal Service (formerly The USPO) began using an expanded ZIP Code called "ZIP+4." A ZIP+4 code consists of the original five digit ZIP Code plus a four digit add-on code. The four digit add-on number identifies a geographic segment within the five digit delivery area, such as a city block, office building, individual high-volume receiver of mail, or any other unit that would aid efficient mail sorting and delivery."

Article

So the US 5-digit system is no more accurate that the UK 5-character system.

Perhaps in parallel you can ask your government to change the postal code system to 5 digits. Maybe this upgrade can be done faster
