does CD6 on ipod adapter work with v.27 update??

My Ride: 07' 550i sport; Sapphire Black/Auburn; sport package; steptronic; navigation with R.T.T.I.; heads up; cold weather package; Logic-7; BMW MOST ipod kit; Motorola V3 snap-in adapter; rear heated seats and rear shades; anthracite headliner; sirrius sat. radio; M-aero kit; OEM style 166 Wheels with 245/35-19 front and 285/30-19 rear Michelin PS2s.
I heard the newest update restores a feature which for many (myself included) never worked: the CD6 with the 2nd Gen. MOST Bus ipod kit, which is supposed to select 500 tracks from your ipod at random.
My CD6 just plays my ipod in alphabetical order the same way every time.
Can anyone confirm that the latest CIP software enables this previously non-operational feature?

First of all, there is no 2nd generation MOST bus iPod interface - only first generation.
Second, I've never heard that the CD6 feature had anything to do with a random selection of 500 tracks - according to the documentation I have, it is supposed to display all tracks.
