My neighbor had a 520i but he just got a new 5-series which is debadged. It can't be a 520i as these have not been sold here for some years.

I've heard that BMW will release a 4-cylinder 520i this autumn. It will probably only be marketed here in Europe as company cars, and in countries like Norway where the cars are very heavily taxed.

Hi Guys,

my sis has a e60 520i with 170 hp - it got discontinued about 2 years ago and was replaced with the 523i with 177 hp. the 520i is a six cylinder, is a nice and quiet engine, is not very fast (compared to the rest of the e60 series), but it is a nice enough car to cruise in. However, in the near future, there are rumours that bmw will be bringing a 520i with 4 cylinders and 170 HP, in fact i just looked in the configurator - it seems available as of september 2007...

cheers
