Everytime I turn off my car and lock it, a few minutes later I'll hear hissing sounds coming from underneath the car. Randomly it'll hiss, as if air is leaking from somewhere, but only for a short amount of time (1-2 seconds) Today after locking it, I even heard a buzzing noise coming from the rear. Is this normal? I've never owned any cars that have made noise after I locked it.

I think that's the catalytic convertor and the particulate filter self cleaning.

already the E39 5 series needed between 15-20 minutes to fully go to sleep, even after taking the key out.

It will not be any different for the E60/61

The particulate filter on the diesels will not burn off the soot without the engine running, though.

They "all" do it--make weird noises when parked whether locked or not. They use artificial intelligence. They are programming themselves to become world dominant.

Mine does it when I wash it. A quite loud electric hissing sound from behind the kidneys. It must be telling the others it's already dominated Poland and they can move on to France and the Benelux.
