Let's go Eagle and Flyers.

Well I'm just started love this car. It was a little transition from E46 M3 with almost motorcycle engine.
But it's amazing car. It's still feel a little big.

I purchased the 08 550 sport in 2/11 with 42,ooo on it . I am 60 years young and get younger every time my ass hits that seat, which is THE best seat I ever sat in. Growing up with american muscle cars was a blast but I wouldn't trade MY carbon black 550 for anything I have ever had. maybe it isn't quite as quick off the line , but what a cruiser, pickup between 75 and 110 is awesome. only put 6000 miles on him (like the gender compare) and it is rock solid. I live in Mn. so probably will garage it soon. What a BITCH.

Still loving the 550 after one year. 36K on the clock and running perfect still. Only problem was an A/C compressor replacement about 6 months ago.

Oh HELL yes! Love love LOVE IT!

57,000 miles on my 2008 550i. Picked it up new in Munich - providing fond memories of our time together in Europe. Since then this has been the single best car I've ever owned. I haven't had one single mechanical or electrical problem with it, and I really take care of it. Weekly washings, old school maintenance, and while I have fun driving it I don't abuse it.

My wife just got a 2011 535xi. Awesome car, and very beautiful, but it hasn't done one thing to make me feel jealous that she has the newer car. I've driven both in Europe and at home, and I'd take my E60 over her F10 any day of the week.

This forum and the people I've met on it keep my passion for E60 alive. The 550 is nice, but I'm ready for 500+ HP, so I've been looking around at the M6 and S63's. Two different beasts, but both are becoming more reasonably priced and as soon as get the hell out of LA and back to OC, I can actually appreciate power like that.

I love my 545i but I too am missing the manual transmission, so when a 550i LCI 6speed manual becomes available in Toronto, I will trade my car in for one.
