I've never used air-refresher in any of cars. I dont know why.

How about you?

(may I add, i just dont like to use them)
When there's short-term odor in my car, I just open the window and it's gone in a jiffy.

like most members here..if you had to use an airfreshener..the lexol leather cleaners and others would be a more desirable scent..ive owned my car fr amost a year..and still have the new car scent.. couple of tips i use......
1.keep windows closed...when kept in garage..keeps scent in
2. dont store food in the cabin of your car... like leftover mcdonalds
3. when transporting high scented food stinky or good.place in trunk wrap with garbage bag.. the scent does travel thru the trunk..
4.clean the cabin frequently and condition the leather..

thats what i do... might help...ericd

This thread makes me think of two funny things:

1) An old friend who wouldn't "break wind" in his cars for fear of the smell getting in the seats (and how he would get quite mad at me when I would do the injustice)

2) The old Seinfeld episode where Jerry's 5-series BMW becomes ruined by the smell of a particularly dirty valet parker. He sends it to the wash twice to get the stink out, but no amount of washing or air freshener can mask it. He tries to sell the car, but they won't even buy it due to the smell. He eventually leaves it in a bad part of town so it will be stolen, and the final scene is the face on the car thief as he gets his first whiff of the stench.
