Guys and Gals, I hope that this is not a repost, but I think we already know the outcome.

I suppose I qualify as an "old guy" since I'm 59! Since I test drove all the cars on the list (plus a couple of others) and bought the 550i (which I'm picking up tomorrow ) I would say that I agree with the results of the poll.

Thanks! Actually, the only time I feel old is when I look in the mirror. Besides, I have too heavy a foot while driving to be considered truly old. My current (and soon to be previous) car is an LS430 and while it is quick for its size, going through the twisties at any rate of speed is a tiring process. I'm turning it in about 3 weeks early just to get into the 550i !

Post some pics from deliver, if you can!

Compared to you old LS430 the 550i E60 will feel like a comfy racing car - if you so wish...

Glad you have summer conditions overthere.

I guess I'm getting there I'm 54 just came out of a 02 E55 that made me feel young but needed a new fix. tested all of the above I own the 550but I will say the M45 is some car for the money, if it wasn't a jap car I might have gone that route. I do really like my 550 but I only have had it a couple of weeks I was able to test drive the M5 after that everything else was boring. The 550 has some M5 in it so I settled, I just could not convince the wife that I needed another 30K for the M. Maybe in three yrs I will have time to work on her.
