Just like you, I have a NUVI and I really love that thing. But, I hate how it hangs on my window. I especially hate when the battery starts to get low and I have to plug it in. That wire just seems to get in the way no matter how hard you try to tie it down. I guess what I'm saying is I love less clutter in the car when I'm traveling out of town.

I actually prefer an old fashion map so I can visualize the whole route before looking at the specific streets/highways. I have a Garmin but I actually do not like using it at all. Tends to send me down weird streets and the voice drives me crazy! So, the answer to your question becomes completely a personal preference. I would take it if the car was a great deal but it was not a must on my 2005 CPO that I bought. Bought mine without and have not looked back.

It turns out the car is Titanium Gray, not silver. Gray looks great, but I need a lighter color because I live in the city and can't wash and wax it the way a dark color requires. If it were silver I would have gone to test drive it tomorrow. However, under the circumstances I'm probably going to pass.

Well, that makes your decision easy! My previous BMW was Titanium Silver and it hid the dirt pretty well.
Good luck with your search!
