Does it need changing? If it still works, I would say no But AFAIK the FOB's do have the option of a battery change....

No need to change any battery unless you have comfort access.
Except for comfort access cars, the key recharges itself when it's in the ignition (or slot). It's a good idea to put your spare key in the slot or otherwise use it every so often to keep it charged up...
