so I'm purchasing a new set of rims and was wondering if I will need a rear camber kit.
front tire size will be: 245/35/20
rear tire size will be: 275/30/20 (currently my rear tires are 275/45/18).
I understand rear tires on BMWs typically do have a little negative camber in the rear so I'm guessing I probably want to keep it that way even with my new rims/tires. I dont know a lot about camber. Learning as I go. From what I know so far, I'm assuming that if I keep 275's in the rear and simply increase from 18's to 20's, in principle, I shouldn't be impacting the camber. I'm not lowering the car just increasing the rim size.
Anyhow long story short, if I run the tire sizes listed above, does anyone think I'll need a rear camber kit?
thx...

The addition of a camber kit will save on your tires, however just changing the wheel size wont increase tire wear as much as lowering your car does. So unless you plan on lowering it I wouldnt worry bout a camber kit, if you plan on lowering it then you may consider getting the kit.

I have the same setup as your 20's...i have 275 on the rear on a 10.5 J wheel...
I don't have a camber kit fitted, and it runs just fine
I dont know how wide your rears will be, but 275 on a 10,5J is a little stretched

Thanks for the replies!
Just got my wheels put on. I got Vossen VVS-CV1's (http://www.vossenwheels.com/gallery/...VSCV1-272.aspx). Looks like I may have to lower the car just a little bit. Car seems to sit a bit high. Any suggestions on good camber kit's? Saw a set on bavauto.com for a decent price. What about lowering springs? Never lowered a car before, so I'm a little new at this.
Thanks for the help...
