I didn't realize the change until I got my X5, and was told that it is actually illegal to run fog lights in the USA, or at least in some states, without a necessity. at least that was posted on other boards...

[/quote]My friend used to have a ML320 w/ 2 extra fog lights on top of its 2 headlights and 2 foglights, it sum up to be 6 lights. I once drove his car during a heavy snow storm in the night, due to the visiblity, I turned on all 6 lights, and ended up got pull over by O.P.P. (Ontario Provincial Police) and ticketed for $115CDN for having more than 4 driving lights.
