Hello Everyone,

My washer fluid pump died on my 2004 BMW 525i, so I decided to replace both windshield and headlight fluid pumps. More importantly, I decided to make a video and post it on YouTube!


I hope this DIY will help someone save time and money. I did not have to remove the wheel, but admit it would have been easier, but I was still able to complete in about 20-minutes.

I have used information from this site that has helped me complete many DIY projects on my toy, so I thought I would start to 'pay back the community' by contributing myself.

My next planned DIY video is to install aftermarket seat heaters in the rear seats of my car. Full credit for this next exploit goes to NoQuarter who posted some incredible DIY info on this project.

 

I just did this couple of days ago - replaced the grommet on the washer pump. I removed the wheel. Doing so made the job much easier.
