well 2 years & 8 months and got my first door ding It's like ruined my day - mother f****! - and I know exactly when it happened. I did a quick check at the time but not close enough - a women

It's not that bad, on the passenger door, but to me it "sticks out like a dogs balls"

can the paintless dent removal work on very minor one?

...going to pour a drink

Cheers,

Same type situation on my 530. Dented right on the door crease line above the passenger door handle.
The service dept. at Autobahn used a paintless dent fellow in Ft. Worth. Could not tell it was there when he was through.
You should not have any troubles

Always park as far away as you can from the rest of the crowd. The longer walk is good for you! Corners are best since one side of the car is always safe. People are generally pretty careful, but all it takes is one idiot to ruin your day.

I hope your ding is easy to fix, good luck.

I have sort of a guidline taht i follow when parking. Always have your passenger side to a wall, and your driver's door to the other cars. That way their drivers door is not at your car, so if the other car is riding alone, you don't have to worry about anyone opening the door into your car. Assuming that there's no passenger in the other cars, which is more likely, because of course there's always the driver but not neccessarily a passenger in the front.

Man, I saw a female attempting to park her car in reverse into a spot. She was upset because it was a tight squeez between the bus stop, train pilar and people waiting for the bus. I just knew she was going to hit the M3 infront of her I just knew it and bam she hit him. Man was he pissed and she was bitch and told him it was only a car. They argued for 5 minutes and i'm surprised he did not slam her. Boy he cursed her out and even I got mad and started yelling from across the street. People just don't care...

Man, I had one of those 'ding' moments just a few days ago. Was going to the studio with a 'friend' and parked in front. Since we're right next to the curb with some parked motorcycles on it, I told him watch out when he opens the door. He says 'yeah yeah' and proceeds to push the door ALL THE WAY OPEN slamming into into a front wheel of a motorcycle. All I got was 'hey dude, you should check the door later and see if it's ok'! Damn, did I remind him what an idiot he was for the next 5 minutes! I mean, does he need the door ALL the way open just to get out and do you need to heave it open with all your strength? Idiot!

I did get some scratches on it but when I detailed the car yesterday, they came off after about 30 minutes working on the area.

Amazing how little/no damage I got seeing how hard it slammed into the motorcycle.

Yep, no more rides for anyone anymore in my car, that's for sure!
