I finally broke down and had the Dinan Stage 2 reprogram installed in my 535 sport today. All I can say is, I am a satisfied customer. It pulls like an a freight train with 3 EMDSD90MAC's on it! I used to have a E39M5 and this upgrade levels the playing field. I know there are cheaper tuners out there, but knowing Dinan boosts the water pump programming along with the the warranty was a plus for me. Plus it still gets almost 30MPG on the highway, I'm a happy camper.

I was checking with my dealer (BMW of Mount Laurel) and they said they didn't do Dinan programming. Where did you get it done?

Welcome to the club.

I'm a satisfied Dinan State 2 customer as well. I'm sure I could have gotten more power, but I'm like a kid in a candy store with the way the car hauls.

@Corey - I was in and out in about 1.5 hours.

Edit - they're having a 20% off sale right now. I don't what the U.S. cost was, but it was $2K installed in Canada.

I just spoke with Dan Gormley at Thompson and scheduled my s/w install for Friday morning, the last day of the Dinan sale

Anyone know what's coming down the pipe? I'm thinking that the sale, combined with the fact that Dinan is looking for a 535 local to them to test new software, that a new software package will be out sometime soon. Thoughts?

From what I was able to find, seems that those with 545's and 550's were not too happy with it. I didn't come across any negative posts yet on 535's.

It did provide for an abundant amount of contention been us and the V8 guys. Now things will be in balance again with 100 hp between the models.
