Guys, I need your input.....I purchased a brand new car here in Germany and also purchased the M-kit with it. Car arrived and sat on the lot waiting for the kit to arrive for about a week ot two. Eventually I picked up the car, coz I got tired of waiting. Anyways, five months later I noticed the color on the M-kit both bumpers, side skirts and spoiler....seemed to look different in terms of the appreance of the car.
Went back to the dealership and I was told that the paint will always looks different on the metal parts compared to the plastic bumpers or parts. Is this really true??? I dont see no differnce in color with my old plastic bumpers and most 5 series that I see on the road with no M-kit.
Sorry for the rumbling but I do need some feedback if possible

For what it's worth, no difference between the silver gray on my plastic stock bumpers and the metal body parts. Sounds like BS to me...

None of our cars have metal bumpers, whether we have an M-kit or not.

The dealer ship should honor their work and fix the problem regardless of when you recognized it. I support you in your decision to make them correct the situation. Have a great weekend.

Thanks guys for your responses.....I too agree its dealership BS. These same people told me it would be painted straight from the BMW factory and now this. The place that supposedly does Beamer certified paint work is singing the same tune......the plastic parts( Bumpers) wont look like the body after being repainted
