Hi all,

I 'm from Europe, and want to buy some re-imported E60 from United States. Do anybody can help me? - What is different between US-market and Euro-market E60 models 525, 530, 525xi and 530xi? Lights, dashbord (destination in Miles, temperature in F, fuel in gallons) something else?

Sorry for bad english

Andrei

Andrei i am from estonia and only thing why i didnt get car from USA because estonian goverment tells that you have to change lights and loadz of thigs or you wont pass NCT...

Are you sure this is true, on 2008? I think the difference in radial diameter may be with the heated steering wheel versus without? I have the 550i with Sport package and heated wheel; I wouldn't want the wheel any thicker, for sure.

Cal

well, thats what i originally knew...my one's an 07 non-LCI model. for the wheel i had the option of the regular or the sport one. Only with the M-sport package did i get this wheel...i guess the hand grip is what makes it look thicker maybe...i'll get back to u on this in a while...in the meanwhile, here are some pics of mine for you to compare to yours...

why do u have to change lights? is it for the red turn lights?

if its for the red turn lights, then just know that only LCI models have those...

ok yea so i looked at it more carefully, and the extra grip is what makes the steering look thicker...n the US 08 models sport package doesnt come with the grip. but i'd say the grip also gives u a more sportier feel...

and iversonm, how does your one have those grips while the others dont? is it pre LCI??

Where did you dig up the diagrams? do you have a link to current parts diagrams for 08's? I'm wondering which wheel my 550i will come with..?
I'm picking up my 550i Carbon black/w/Natural interior sport package, heated steering wheel, etc etc...the end of the month..Any clue?
A couple of corrections. The US 550 wheel is the sport wheel, not the M-Sport wheel. When I stated that my wheel looked like the M-Sport wheel, I had confused it with my E46. Sorry for the misinformation.

I got the diagrams off of realoem.com. Unfortunately, it only is current through 11/06 production.

No, I was flat out wrong. I was thinking of my E46 ZHP. There are no grips.
