I have in another thread on this forum tried to describe the present work from pre. xenon headlamps with AHL to LCI headlights with AHL, read this because I think it will explain it very adequate, just like in this thread there is a PDF file with description of the wiring work when changing to LCI headlights , on cars after 03/05 , but most of it is the same for cars between 07/03 up to 03/05.

What about cars built Prior to 3/05 build date? Any input on if that is the same PDF or it's not possible to retrofit?

Please take another look at , what I'm writting , ( and also see my signatur
) , a retrofit on a car prior to 03/05 is possible ! , even on a car from 07/03 ( the first month they were delivered ) is it possible , it's only a matter of knowing what you have , and what parts you need , and to that nobody can make a " one in all DIY" that covers all aspects/combinations ( Halogen or Xenon , with or without AHL etc. ) for every car ( E60/61 ) out there.So if you don't understand this , please don't try to make the upgrade

I agree LCI angel eyes are so bright, corners are like the euro no amber, 3 led ambers in the eyebrow
