Doc,
I got nearly 17k miles out of my rears and certainly DID NOT drive with a pipe and slippers. I am still amazed that there are people who only get 6k out of a set. They must be performing Clarkson style donughts to get that poor a figure.
Forgot to mention mine were Dunlop Sport runflats and they had no excessive noise at any point during their life either.

Perhaps I'm a bit pessimistic, or perhaps I've got soft (but grippy) potenzas on mine)
Unfortunately I cannot alter the poll settings so NO OFFENCE intended
Mayby Its my lead foot or the fact that it often has me + wife + 3 lads on board and I love using the torquey acceleration.

Doc,
I traded my 530d at 19,500 miles and there was still 2/3 mm of tread left on the rear tyres. I used the kick in the pants pedal everywhere

My original Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RUNFLAT set has reached 43.500 kms and they were able to get a little more. I never drive slower than 120 km/h.
I replaced them by the same tires but NON RUNFLATS. They are nice more comfortable.....

Tuga (and others who replaced RF's with normal tyres) ...Quick question....
Did you buy a spare wheel , jack , wheelbrace?
If so; how much did they cost ?
Thanks!
(My Dunlop DSST's just over half worn after 14000 hard miles!)
