Didn't use premium gas, problem?
It the Uk we have 95 octane and 97 octane
My 530i petrol LOVES the Shell V power Super unleaded 97 octane!
But at $8.52 a gallon its pretty expensive..... Yep thats what we pay for fuel!
£1.22 a litre x 4.54 that give you £5.53 which is $8.52 a gallon!
Makes the car go so fast though!

Oh my--really--- are there still people out there that read any kind of internet car forum, especially involving the U.S do not know euro octane is totally differently measured than U.S Your 97 I hate to say is the U.S 91-93 and your 95 is our 89-90.
Also your car does not go faster believe me unless your FI you wont notice a difference in one hard pull--dream on

The 110 octane you can only put in containers though (no road tax) and not directly into the car.
I can't believe the ignornance in this thread... Higher octane does not equal more power.
Also using lower than recommended octane for our cars ( which by the way is 91, NOT 93, 100, 101 etc. ) will not hurt the engine at all.
So this thread is pretty much pointless.

While higher octane does not atuoatmically equal more power-it does in a sense allow you to use the most power your engine can make for an NA car and literally yes will change how much power your car makes if you are FI.
So in a sense if you do want to keep WOT and making the max hp of your car, you need 91 or more.
