nice vid ! must be nice to drive that fast w/o worriyng about cops or police. How does the car feel/handle at that speed?? did you have room for more in the gas pedal, or were you down to the floor?
If we get caught driving that fast over here forget it! probably loose your licence, your car impounded, and really hefty fines!
You know what feels really weird - overtaking a police car that's got his flashing blue lights on and is in a real hurry to get somewhere and is probably doing over 100mph. To fly by one at 155mph feels so wrong but it's legal

The car felt really solid and quiet up to about 250, over that it felt a bit twitchy, but that could be because of the crappy roadsurface on some places on that highway.
When your doing 250, you get the feeling your just coasting along, no real sense of pushing it.

The pedal was on kickdown, but i definitely had the sense it kept on accelerating after 260. (Full tank of gas and 3 people in the car doesn't really help to max out the car)
I'm returning to Germany this friday (taking a trip to the Ring and staying in a friends vacation home in "Bad Bertrich" for the weekend). If i find any unrestricted roads (which i doubt, because most of the driving will be on B-roads in the mountains), i'll enable the hidden OBD menu and see if that goes over 260.

I put in a high speed run before I put my winters on in November:
I only managed 158mph before I had to slow down for traffic

If you mean me, felt solid as a rock. Check out the lack of vibration at the peak speed in the video at around 2mins23secs.

And if you mean me: ditto
At 2:10 you can clearly see there are no vibrations whatsoever. The only bumps you see are bumps that are in the road (which there were quite a few!).
