Default Did my front brakes today

Started on the right side. It was my first time doing the brakes on this car. I put on Centric rotors and Hawk pads. Everything went well on the right side. I had purchased new rotor retaining screws just in case anything went wrong but both ended coming out fine - tossed the old ones anyway. Greased and antiseize'd everything up. All good.

Went to do the left side. Damn rotor would NOT come off. I hammered on that thing for a good long while. With the wheels turned all the way to the right, I removed the jack stand and lowered the rotor down on to a stack of three 2x4's. Just enough of an angle to pop that sucker right off Bedded them in and all was well. Cleared all the service alerts in the computer and I was a happy man. I let everything cool down before heading to the store for some milk.

Come out of the store, start the car up, and I hear "Bing". WTF?! REAR brake pad sensor alert LOL! Geez, time to order rear rotors and pads now. Just thought it was funny that the rear sensor alerted 30 minutes after putting on new fronts. Computer said I had over 1000 miles left on the rears. Oh well, what's another $300, right?

Nice idea, the first time I changed my rotors I beat that this so hard that I actually chipped the edge! They must have welded them on... Did you have a look in your service menu and not see where your rear pads were coming due? This should have been displayed in milage due. I just changed my oil yesterday and will I was resetting the oil I also reset the brake fluid inspection that was come up for service this month. I'll get the fluid changed sometime in the next month or so when I decide if I will do it my self or take it some where.

Yeah, I knew the rears were coming up. iDrive said 1100 more miles last week. For some reason it now says 'negative' 15,000 miles. Hmm. I looked at the pads and they're only about half done.
