My Ride: 2006 530i Sport - Stock
I never did. I ended up wrecking the car. When I got it back from repair the light was gone. I do not recommend taking this path to resolving your issue though 
. There are some other good recommendations in this thread if you haven't tried them already. Hopefully it's as easy as a gas cap.

I havent tackled this problem yet but i will go after the charcoal canister to see if the lines are normal...did the repair shop tell what was wrong?
