for the price you paid, and the fact that nobody will notice, i'd say leave it as is.

try tightening the top two screws harder and undo the bottom two a tiny bit? Looks like lifting it up in that direction will fix it

Default depo lights arrived

Just got my depo lights. Before I install them should I get the Bruce cables? For the ricky brake effect? Or just enjoy them the way they are. Do I need any special tools and what's my install time

installation time for me from pre lci to lci was 10 mins, literally 4 bolts! If it were my car I'd install them asap and have Bruce's cables on order!

if you had to ask, I would say install them and enjoy and make sure everything is functional. Then move on and do the brake light effects later by the write up or bruce's cables.

Well on the install does the wire harness on the depos need to come off bc looking at the directions its a Lil confusing but I'm not about to pay someone this time. I looked on utube for a video the one they had about Spyder lights didn't have the same harnesses so I just rigged my back up

Default Depo Taillights

Hi All,

As promised, attached are a couple of post install pics of the Depo LCI style taillights I installed on my 06 550i this past weekend. 4 nuts on each light, plug and play. Literally took minutes to install. No codes and no Bruce cables planned and the look is definitely an improvement over stock.

I have a 07 550i I just installed mine during lunch at work I was wondering about those 2 boxes I connected them was that right and the 3m tape is weak my boxes fell and my lights don't look so bright maybe it's the daylight and the tubes don't look all the way lit up or maybe it's just me or do I need to push the bulbs further in. Hummm but the design is nice

I used black adhesive velcro tape as the 3m tape was not working for me either. The bars appear a good deal brighter after dark.
